About Theatre Panache

In 2004, Heather Markgraf, Artistic Director, founded Theatre Panache as a professional, touring theatre company based in Hudson, Quebec. In 2005, it produced "Till We Meet Again", a 1940’s war time musical written by David Langlois. The show toured the Toronto area, played at the War Museum and the Scheckman Theatre, and in Montreal. Theatre Panache also produced "Brigit’s Reel", another Canadian musical at the Centaur Theatre in Montreal in 2006.

In 2008, Theatre Panache launched a fall festival of plays in Hudson initially called 'Stories on Stage', which has now become an annual event and part of the Hudson ‘Greenwood Storyfest'.

In 2010, Theatre Panache and DharmaNectar Studio (now known as Arts Newboro) produced “Shirley Valentine” by Willy Russell for the inaugural Dinner Theatre event in Newboro. "Shirley Valentine”, a famous Broadway comedy, was very well received in Newboro.

Theatre Panache has also created a number of Murder Mysteries in a variety of settings.
